Margarita Sisam
Margarita is based in our Auckland office and has been working with Career Coach Consulting for over a year, during which time she has helped many different clients through career transition. She has herself experienced many changes in the world of work encompassing over 30 years as a mother and in numerous roles in administration, counselling, English language teaching, journalism, sales and career coaching in various sectors including hospitality, corporate, healthcare, publishing, university and small business.
Her wealth of practical experience is complemented by a vast array of personal and professional development including a BA in Sociology & Theatre and Film, as well as training in various healing art modalities and counselling. Margarita draws on a sound knowledge of the principles of Myers Briggs and other personality profiling as to how individuals process and evaluate information.
Margarita has lived and worked in New Zealand and China in various roles and spent four years in Chile working in journalism and sales. She has also travelled extensively including a month’s stay in India. Having lived and worked overseas and taught English to migrants, she relates easily to a wide range of people from different cultures and has a keen understanding of the challenges of adjusting to living in a new country.
Margarita is passionate about helping people to identify and achieve their life purpose and has developed a sound reputation for helping clients chart the unfamiliar and often unsettling waters of career and life changes.
Margarita’s strengths lie in her strong intuitive ability to understand and relate to people of all backgrounds and quickly get to the heart of career-related issues and gently assist her clients to work through them. A talented counsellor and coach by nature, Margarita brings with her a mature understanding of people teamed with an insightful, spiritual and youthful perspective on career change.
