1. Career Transition & Outplacement Services (for employees facing redundancy)
Purpose:
These services encompass more traditional outplacement services or exit packages for employees exiting an organisation post redundancy or by mutual agreement. We understand that while employers have a duty of care to their employees, to assist them with finding another job, we are aware that not all employers have the ability to provide these outplacement services confidentially inhouse.
Our corporate career transition and outplacement services are made up of various components including:
- Career Management coaching to determine the appropriate career path
- Career Planning of the next steps to take
- Job hunting strategies including tapping into the hidden job market
- Creation of a competency based Curriculum Vitae and cover letter
- Working with recruitment consultants and using employment agencies
- Interview technique preparation and coaching
- Overcoming confidence issues and potential constraints to boost self esteem
It is important to clarify that as career coaches our emphasis is on providing employees with the tools to help themselves with their career management and job hunting.
For this reason we focus on assisting people with the techniques to effectively job hunt and obtain their new roles, however we do not place people in roles, we leave that to the recruitment agencies.
Our role as career coaches is all about teaching people how to fish for themselves and giving them the right tools which they can apply over and over again.
Package Features:
- Career Outplacement services are offered via either one-on-one coaching or in small workshops (up to 10 people) for larger outplacement groups.
- The process can vary in length depending on the time required to create the individual’s CV and the various career coaching components the employer wishes to provide.
- We offer a range of career transition packages with components based on the organisation’s requirements and budget.
- Career coaching, CV and cover letter writing, job hunting guidance and interview coaching are all available on a modular basis, so that you can choose which services you want and whether they are provided in a workshop or one-on-one.
- Our hours are flexible between 10am and 7pm and it is possible for two sessions to be conducted on the same day with a break in between.
